We’re excited to announce some new enhancements  to the Qantas Group Travel site that will make managing your group bookings even easier.

These enhancements are part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing your experience with Qantas Group Travel.

Adding & Updating Frequent Flyer Numbers and Special Service Requests Post Ticketing

From 06 November 2024, you can now add and update your customers’ Qantas Frequent Flyer numbers, meal preferences and special service requests even after tickets have been issued.

To do this, simply navigate to the ‘Names’ tab of your group booking and update the necessary fields at least 24 hours prior to the first departure.

This new feature gives you greater flexibility to manage your group bookings in instances where these details are not available at the time of ticketing.

Automated Password Reset

We've updated our password security guidelines for the Qantas Group Travel website. This change will impact your password when logging into your Qantas Group Travel account.

From 15 October 2024, when you attempt to log into your Qantas Group Travel account, you will need to reset your password. To reset your password, click on 'Forgot your Password', then enter your username and follow the prompts. You will be required to change your password by following this process every 90 days.

To ensure your access to Qantas Group Travel is maintained, please reset your password as soon as you log in from 15 October 2024.

Password Guidelines-

To create a strong password for your account, your password must be at least 7 characters long and must include at least three of the following: uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters (e.g., !, @, #, $). Avoid using easily guessable information like common words, your name, or date of birth. Combining different character types increases the strength of your password, making it harder for unauthorised users to guess.

If you need further information or support with resetting your password, please contact the Qantas Group Travel Team for assistance.

Online Check-in

From 17 September 2024, all new group quotes and bookings will automatically be enabled for online check-in for specific group types.

Eligible Group passengers within specific group types will be able to check-in online, via mobile or through the Qantas app for domestic travel within Australia. To make things easier, group PNRs will no longer need to be split into individual PNRs for online check-in.

Where group check-in is requested, please ensure that all group passengers are advised not to use online check-in.

Group Movement Advice (GMA)

Along with enhancements to online check-in for groups, we’ve made updates to the Group Movement Advice (GMA) form within your group booking/s.

These updates are designed to improve the experience for your group travellers, by allowing you to specify:

  • the check-in method the group will use
  • the number and detail of any additional baggage or mobility aids being carried

To help our teams prepare for your group’s requirements, from 17 September 2024, the GMA will need to be completed prior to ticketing being actioned.
